World need more Bridges than Wall

Two neighboring villages were separated by a deep valley.

One leader ordered a high wooden barrier to be built along the edge of the valley so that the two villages would no longer interact.

The barrier quickly created distance between the communities. Trade stopped, conversations stopped, and mistrust began to grow.

A wise craftsman traveling through the area saw the situation and proposed something unusual.

Instead of offering to strengthen the wall, he proposed something unexpected.

“Let us build a bridge,” he said.

At first the leader hesitated, but the villagers agreed to try.

Once the bridge was built, people began crossing again. Conversations returned. Trade revived. Suspicion slowly gave way to understanding.

5 Principles of Bridge Leadership :-

  • Progress comes from co-creating value together, not from operating in silos.
  • Build shared understanding before driving decisions
  • Understanding the context, priorities, and constraints under which each stakeholder operates before implementing solutions
  • Create pathways for cooperation and progress
  • Ability to collaborate across differences, turning diversity into a strength rather than a barrier.

So let us choose to be craftsmen every day—building bridges, not walls
